Sunset Lodge

Sunset Lodge was established in 1898 by Leonard and Rhoda Wheeler. Originally built as a home for their sunset years, it was later developed into a full-service resort. The main house, Wheeler House, was completed in 1891. Over the years, additional buildings were added, including guest cottages, a dining hall, social hall, and other facilities. Today, five buildings remain: the main house, two guest cottages, the barn, and the social hall. The lodge has been restored and continues to welcome guests, maintaining its long tradition in this special area.
